Preparations Begin

Still in the preparation phase for my first big ride. The scheduled departure date for my trip to Washington D.C. is May 24th. I and some of my friends from Rolling Thunder Texas Chapter 1 are headed to the organization's most important event...Ride to the Wall. There will be hundreds of thousands of bikers descending on the city for the Memorial Day weekend events. It is not so much a rally as it is a remembrance of our brothers and sisters from all wars that never came home. This organization, as well as many others across this great nation, gather together on this day to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and those unaccounted for. We must not forget them!
